Issy

Well, we just can't help ourselves. Apparently we are "dog people". Meet Issy, our new addition. She is an 11 month old Australian Shepard. I had contacted the family who owned her several months ago when I found her on Craigslist. We applied to be her new home, as did many families, and were offered the opportunity. The day we were planning to go meet her, her family had a change of heart and backed out on rehoming her. Their daughters had grown far more attached then they had originally realized. Well, a couple days ago, I got another call from the family and the time had come. They felt terrible but this dog was way more than they could handle, she constantly wants to play, and constantly needs attention! Thankfully for us, she is equally happy playing with Bentley as she is playing with us. So they can wear each other out. Hopefully Issy will become my new hiking and mountain biking companion, she already shows great potential for off leash walking and endless games of fetch! Here are some photos...and I am sure there will be MANY more to come!
